India Against Corruption
Note the fast has been cancelled in light of the progress made in India. However, the meeting will still be taking place at Queens' to discuss the Lokpal Bill further.
As modern India rises unanimously in an unprecedented show of solidarity in its Satyagraha against corruption, we call upon you to join Cambridge University India Society's voice in support of India Against Corruption.
Remember, Cambridge University India Society is YOUR voice. When India's simmering anger against corruption explodes, in true Indian spirit, as peaceful yet firm remonstrance; when all of India is saying 'enough, no more', to the plague of corruption, would you want to stay silent and indifferent?
Be a part of this historic step of the people of India to safeguard the meaning and relevance of democracy by uprooting the evil of corruption, and do your part in its snowballing momentum.
