Oxford Diwali Ball 2011: Cambridge Coach
When: Saturday, 5th - Sunday, 6th November
Time: 5:00pm from Cambridge, 2:30am from Oxford
Venue: Kelsey Kerridge
Cambridge will be organising a coach to the event. If you definitely want a ticket or have already purchased a ticket and would like to travel on the coach, then please message Viraj (07958001815 or vp296@cam.ac.uk) as there are limited spaces (first come, first serve basis).
Cambridge students get discounted ticket prices for 35 (travel not inc. - total price will be confirmed next week) as opposed to 40 if you directly purchase tickets from Oxford Hindu Soc.
If you already have a table of 10 people, then let us know the names and we can reserve that table for you (I'll set you the bank details to do a direct transfer to the Oxford Hindu Soc). However, if you haven't got a table of 10 - then don't worry, just let us know if you definitely want to come and we'll place you on one of several Cambridge tables that have been reserved.
This year is the 10th anniversary of the Ball, and for that reason we're going to make sure it's the best one yet! There will be a three course dinner and a fantastic DJ playing the best of Bollywood, Bhangra and R'n'B. We've got lots more quality entertainment lined up, and details will be released as we get closer to the date! Past years have seen headline acts such as Signature, Raghav and Punjabi MC so get excited!
There are 3 ways to get tickets:
1) Cash (please place in an envelope with your name and amount enclosed on it).
I can collect it from you at the IndiaSoc Charity Speed Dating event on Tuesday
or text me on 07958001815 to arrange to collect on any other day.
2) Cheque made payable to "Viraj Patel". Again place in an envelope with your
name on it and I can either collect it from you on Tuesday or arrange to
collect it from you whenever.
3) Bank Transfer (details available upon request).
THE DEADLINE FOR BUYING TICKETS IS THE 25/10/11.
What's more, all the proceeds from the event will go to the charity for the year, Manav Sadhna.
