Standard Chartered Bank Presentation
When: Wednesday, 23rd November
Venue: Fitzwilliam Museum
Time: 6:30pm - 9:30pm
STANDARD CHARTERED VISITS CAMBRIDGE FOR THE FIRST TIME: THE MAJOR
EMERGING MARKETS UNIVERSAL BANK WILL SPEAK ON: "LEADERSHIP IN EMERGING MARKETS"
Standard Chartered, which derives over 90% of its profits from emerging
markets, is a major UK-based universal bank that is looking for talent
amongst final year undergraduates, Masters Students and graduate students
in Cambridge. This is the first event Standard Chartered Bank has held in
Cambridge and a small team of senior directors would like to talk to you,
the next generation of emerging leaders.
We are privileged to have the Regional Head of SC's Consumer Bank in South
Asia, Sanjeeb Chaudhuri, who lectures at the Judge Business School and
drives the most profitable region of the bank, speaking to us, as well as
SC's Group Head of Strategy, Duncan Woods, a Cambridge alumnus.
For passionate students interested in the Bank, or a job in emerging
markets, this will be an unrivalled opportunity to learn and interact with
some of the most senior staff at one of Britain's most respected
international banks.
This is a really great
chance both to get a much more in-depth exposure to what a role in a top
tier global bank entails, and to network with some extremely senior members
of SC's most profitable region. SC are particularly looking at the
applications of 3rd year, Masters and PhD students and this is a golden
opportunity to talk to the people who may be interviewing you. For 1st and
2nd years, this is something that can make an internship application really
stand out. The topic is highly relevant to today's shift in economic power
from West to East. So if you are interested please do e-mail
rd413@cam.ac.uk to put yourself on the guest list and make the most of this
valuable opportunity.
